The contrast between the lively Old Town and Auschwitz is overwhelming. You spend the morning surrounded by music, laughter, and street artists, then the afternoon walking through silent grounds where so many lives were lost. It is hard to process, but it reminds you how fragile peace really is. I left Krakow feeling grateful, reflective, and deeply moved.
krakow is wonderful, but auschwitz changed the way i look at life. it’s impossible to walk through and not feel deeply affected.
Great way to experience Krakow at your own pace. Zakopane with the cable car was breathtaking, and the internet e-SIM kept me connected. Couldn’t have asked for a better sightseeing solution.
