In this private tour take time to explore the highlights from Sintra to Cascais.

We recommend starting the visit at National Pena Palace and Park, which lies atop the majestic Sintra hills, a romantic-style palace with vivid colours contrasting with the mountain. The Pena Park hides unique and stunning corners and secrets that are worth discovering.
Another suggestion is to discover the National Palace of Sintra, the only monarch's palace that has survived almost intact to the present day.
Its construction is characterised by three main artistic styles: Manueline, Mudéjar and Gothic. The palace is considered an example of organic architecture, a set of apparently distinct forms.
After visiting the chosen palace or monument, you will have free time in the village of Sintra to explore some of the narrow streets of the historic centre and taste the typical sweets: "queijada" and "travesseiro".
From Sintra, travel along a beautiful road surrounded by the nature of Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, to Cabo da Roca, the most western point of Europe, that was considered in antiquity to be the place where "the land ends and the sea begins”.
Take a panoramic tour along the coast to Cascais, passing by Guincho beach - famous for surfing - and Boca do Inferno (Hell's Mouth), a unique rock formation. In Cascais you can enjoy lunch, with fresh seafood and fish, in this old fishermen's village.
On your way back to Lisbon, enjoy the panoramic view of Estoril, where you can see the Estoril Casino, one of the largest in Europe, its gardens, and the Tamariz coast.
