the dual inclusion of a thermal bath (Lukács) and the fantastic Zoo made this the ultimate, perfect choice for our family vacation with two young children. we used the 48-hour public transport non-stop, which was a dream come true for convenience. it literally covered every single major thing we wanted to do in the city. best possible way to explore, seriously. thank you for the great package.
The attractions and inclusions, like the Zoo and the 48-hour transport, are definitely high-quality and comprehensive. However, I personally felt the initial price point was quite high, and I spent a lot of time calculating if I was truly maximizing the value in 48 hours. If you're a traveler who prefers a more spontaneous and slow-paced trip, this package might not be the ideal fit for your specific budget or style.
i really loved the pass and the convenience it offered, we had a fantastic two days. but i was genuinely disappointed that my entry ticket for St. Stephen's Basilica, which is included, did not also include the popular dome climb, which you have to pay extra for. that specific detail should be clearer on the pass description before purchase. besides that clarity issue, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience, especially the river cruise.
the most efficient and value-packed way to see Budapest. Saved a substantial amount of money compared to booking individually.
it was definitely a great pass with amazing value and so many things included, that's for sure. but it did feel a little bit rushed, trying to fit *absolutely everything* into just two days. there are almost too many great inclusions, we couldn't do them all justice and felt burnt out by the end of the second day trying to maximize it. four stars because the quality of the things we did do was very high.
the Budapest Zoo & Botanical Garden inclusion was a fantastic, fun break from all the usual historical sites and museums we had been seeing. this was a great change of pace and a brilliant inclusion for our kids, who loved every minute. the pass made the zoo entry quick and easy. the combination of thermal bath, zoo, and transport is just genius for a family vacation, totally recommend it.
The 48 hours of unlimited public transport included in the Deluxe pass was truly a lifesaver for us. it made the entire two-day trip easy from a logistical point of view and definitely super cost-effective, we saved so much on individual tickets. getting to and from the Zoo and the other major sites was a breeze with the metro. flawless execution of a complex set of activities, it was worth the price.
the Deluxe Pass is seriously the ultimate family package, we absolutely loved it! 48-hour unlimited public transport was a total dream, we used the tram and metro constantly for the kids. plus, getting the Lukács Bath entry AND the Zoo entry all bundled together was perfect for our family trip itinerary. we couldn't ask for anything more convenient, it was the best.

Good pass, but the 24-hour limit on the HOHO bus felt restrictive for a 2-day pass, to be honest. It meant we had to rush our second day activities to make the most of it before it expired. everything else was great, especially the Szechenyi entry. if the HOHO was 48 hours, it would be a perfect 5 stars.
