At first glance, Guide might look a bit intimidating, but don’t let that fool you! Turns out, he’s an absolute gem and a total joy to be around! He’s incredibly passionate, fun, and truly knows his stuff. Haluk guided us through the Blue Mosque with so much detail, making sure we didn’t miss a thing. He explained the history with such thoroughness and enthusiasm that it brought everything to life! The place is very beautiful and impressive. No question about that. However the lack of organization is remarkable. I think that they allow more people inside than the amount it's convenient. The result is people pushing, running you over, passing you from everywhere... Very stressful from my point of view. Only worth it because it's unique.

1. The attitude of the palace staff were much better than any where else in Istanbul. They were friendly and open to speak in English unlike any where else in Istanbul. I recommend public instituation to have their front desk staff at least with English language ability .

In Istanbul, this magnificent palace should not be missed. The ticketing process with Megapass was super easy. We received our e-tickets in minutes and the entry process was easy as well. I recommend Megapass highly.
