The Aurora Borealis is one of the most spectacular sights to be seen in nature. A Northern Lights cruise with Sea Trips Reykjavík offers an excellent opportunity to witness this unique celestial phenomenon in person – a real bucket-list experience.
Enjoy the eerie glow of this night-time kaleidoscope as solar flares are drawn to the Earth’s atmosphere by the magnetic fields of the Arctic, painting mesmerizing displays of green, white, violet, and red across the sky.
To see the aurora requires a clear and dark night sky, so a SeaTrips Northern Lights cruise will take you away from the bright lights of the capital city for a much better chance of success. Remember though – the Northern Lights are not “on” every day!
